Tour 74 - From Vienna to Prague with 3 hours sightseeing stops in Mauthausen and 2 hours in Linz (total 5 hours sightseeing included)
Mauthausen is a WWII concentration camp in Austria. You can read about the Mauthausen concentration camp in our blog post. The camp is located about 25 minutes away from Linz and about 1 hour and 30 minutes from Vienna. Combining the two points of interest in one sightseeing transfer between Prague and Vienna is optimal in terms of time efficiency and cost effectiveness. One can wander around the Mauthausen camp on his own or it os possible to join official tours provided by the camp.
Linz is a center of culture and is located on the Danube river. Often we come to Linz to join river cruises on the Danube river. During the scenic transfer you will be allowed 2 hours of free roaming around the city center. Linz is ideal to have lunch on the way between Vienna and Prague.
Suggested schedule and tour itinerary:
Traveling from Vienna to Prague via Mauthausen and Linz:
9:00 pick up in Vienna
10:30 Arrival to Mauthausen
10:30 - 13:30 Tour of Mauthausen
13:30 Departure towards Linz
14:00 Sightseeing with or without local guide in Linz (guide is paid extra on the spot or to the driver)
16:00 Departure from Linz to Prague
18:45 arrival to Prague
Pick up point in Vienna:
At the hotel: the driver will meet you at the hotel lobby
At the apartment: the driver will be waiting in front of the building
At the river cruise on Danube: the driver is able to collect you from the river cruise. Most of the ships are docked in Handelskai area. The driver will meet you at the reception area of the ship.
Other: to be agreed
During the sightseeing: you can leave the luggage in the car / minivan, the driver will stay with the car, your luggage will be safe and you can enjoy the sightseeing without any hassle.
Pricing:
Prices includes VAT, diesel, wage of the driver, car rental, all fees and taxes. The tip for the driver is not included, however the driver will never seek for the tip. Tipping is voluntary. The payment can be done in CZK, EUR, USD or credit card. The credit card payment is made in Czech currency according to current payment policy. The parking fees are included.
