Tour 8 - combo transfer - tour from Salzburg to Prague with a 3 hours sightseeing stop in Hallstatt and 3 hours stop in Cesky Krumlov

Cesky Krumlov - the South Bohemian jewel is located about 2 hours and 15 minutes aways from Prague. It is almost on the way to Hallstatt and Salzburg, thus it is a non sense to skip the visit to Cesky Krumlov when traveling in this direction. Cesky Krumlov is worth the visit. The Cesky Krumlov chateau/castle is the dominant of the historical center. But there is plenty historical buildings to see in the small historical town. City center is packed with shops, restaurants and cozy bars. You can explore the city center on your own or we can arrange a private English tour for two hours (additional charge). The castle tours are available without need of a reservation. It is possible to do the Castle tour, Castle Tower and Baroque theater tour. However the theater is very busy and amount of visitors allowed to enter is limited. It is recommended to book the teather in advance. Lunch can be done in one of many restaurants in the city center. We recommend Satlava or Mastal. Cesky Krumlov has plenty of options for vegetarians too. To name a few: Laibon and U Dvou Marii.

Cesky Krumlov is surely one of the most attractive cities in the Czech Republic and so is Hallstatt in Austria. Hallstatt - like Cesky Krumlov - is listed on the UNESCO heritage list. The main attraction in Hallstatt are the Salt mines and Hallstatt lake. Hallstatt is a picturesque village. One can explore the town very briefly in less than hour or you can spend a whole day. We include 3 hours, which should be enough for both casual travelers that just want to see the famous place, as well as for those who plan to visit the salt mines.

Suggested schedule:

Traveling from Salzburg to Prague via Hallstatt and Cesky Krumlov:

9:00 pick up in Salzburg
10:30 drop of in Hallstatt for sightseeing and visit of the Salt Mines (tickets not included)
13:30 leave Hallstatt and drive to Cesky Krumlov
16:30 arrival to Cesky Krumlov
19:30 departure to Prague
21:00 arrival to Prague hotel / agreed drop off point

At the hotel: the driver will meet you at the hotel lobby
At the apartment: the driver will be waiting in front of the building

In Cesky Krumlov: the driver will agree with you where to meet, when you finish your tour of Cesky Krumlov; if you carry your cell phone, the driver will provide his direct number so you can amend the pick up time and location anytime.
In Hallstatt the driver will reunion with you at the car park or centrally agreed location. Since Hallstatt is relatively small and not very friendly towards cars, we may not be able to drop you off in the city center, but just at the edge of the town. There is a parking for tourists.

Pricing:

Prices includes VAT, diesel, wage of the driver, car rental, all fees and taxes. The tip for the driver is not included, however the driver will never seek for the tip. Tipping is voluntary. The payment can be done in CZK, EUR, USD or credit card. The credit card payment is made in Czech currency according to current payment policy.
