What to see in Cesky Krumlov


Cesky Krumlov Castle

Cesky Krumlov is a UNESCO World Heritage site and its castle is one of the largest in the world. The castle grounds are over 10 hectares long and host festivals and other events during the entire year. Visitors who climb up the iconic castle tower will be greeted with an excellent view of Cesky Krumlov, the Vltava river and the surrounding countryside.

Latran

Latran shines due to being the best preserved part of the Old Town of Cesky Krumlov. The cobblestoned streets have kept their medieval charm and will definitely take you back in time.

Main Square

The main square of Cesky Krumlov has several restaurants and cafes where you can relax in. It is embellished by a 19th century fountain that will give you great photo opportunities.


What to see in Vienna


Schonbrunn Palace

This colossal palace is one of the main attractions in Vienna. It is standing since the 1600's and has been the birthplace of several Austrian emperors. It has 1441 rooms and the Baroque architecture will definitely amaze you.

Hofburg Palace

Vienna has a thing for enormous palaces. Although the Hofburg Palace is where the Austrian president lives, it is still open to tourists. You can take a tour through the old imperial apartments or visit the palace's museum.

St. Stephen's Cathedral

Probably the most iconic church in Austria, the St. Stephen's Cathedral is visible from most places in Vienna. Although you can awe at it from the outside, you are also able to visit some of the many altars inside.

Traveling from Prague to Budapest via Cesky Krumlov:

9:00 pick up in Prague
11:30 drop of in Cesky Krumlov for 2 hours sightseeing
13:30 leave Cesky Krumlov and drive via Linz to Vienna (alternatively it is possible to go via Weitra or Trebon)
16:30 arrival to Vienna, 3 hours sightseeing in Vienna
19:30 departure from Vienna to Budapest (highway route via Gyor)
21:30 arrival to Budapest
