This sightseeing transfer allows you to see more of the beautiful German countryside during your trip from Prague to Dresden. The 4-hour stop in Bastei is completely worth it due to the natural beauty of the location. Despite the fact that the trip from Prague to Dresden takes less than 2 hours, taking a detour to see Bastei is a must for those who love sightseeing. The amazing natural scenery will leave you completely amazed and you will not regret the extra time spent travelling.

Located in the Saxon Switzerland National Park area, Bastei is better known for the wonderful Bastei Bridge, which overlooks the National Park and the Elbe river. The bridge is 76,5 meters long and connects the enormous rock formations. This panoramic view also overlooks the surrounding mountains and the Koenigstein Fortress. The Bastei Bridge is so famous that hundreds of tourists visit it every day. The proximity to Dresden (about 1 hour away), makes it an excellent choice for tourists on daytrips out of there.

The ruins of the Felsenburg Castle are right in front of the bridge and also worth a visit. Although the Bastei Bridge has no admission cost, the tour of the castle will cost you a small fee.

The Bastei Hotel also has a beautiful view of its surrounding area. It is the perfect place for you to relax and to enjoy the nature while grabbing something to eat. Enjoy a good cup of hot tea or coffee with a breathtaking view of the Elbe river winding through the land beneath the rocks of the Bastei (drinks and refreshment are paid on the spot and are not included).

This 4-hour stop is perfect to relax and to take a deep breath of fresh air before heading back to civilization. If, however, you feel like you do not want to stay the entirety of your 4-hour stop at Bastei, there are other places nearby that the driver can take you to. It is possible to visit the Czech side of the rock formation and to visit the Pravcicka Archway, the largest natural sandstone arch in the entire European continent. Alternatively it is also possible to visit Bad Schandau, one of Germany's many spa towns, or to take a trip to the Koenigstein Fortress.

During the 4-hour stop in Bastei, passengers are free to explore this magnificent National Park and adjoining town on their own. If you feel like you want to spend even more time on wonderful Bastei, then we can accommodate you. Just let your driver know and you will be able to stay for longer in Bastei. This service incurs an additional fee. While you are exploring Bastei, your bags will be safely kept in the vehicle while the driver looks after them. If you want to visit another nearby location, just let your driver know.

The payment can be done in CZK, EUR, USD or credit card. The credit card payment is made in Czech currency according to current payment policy. The parking fees are included.
